BCD App Setup Steps
Step 1
Create your BCD account
Search for the BCD app or open the website, choose sign up, then create an account with a username and password.
Step 2
Customize your profile
Open Settings to add a profile picture, add a header, or change your password.
Step 3
Connect Last.fm or Stats.fm
Connect a music tracking service so BCD can read your recent streams and count progress toward daily missions.
Step 4
Complete daily missions
Listen to the required BTS songs for the day, then return to BCD to claim your digital photocard rewards.
Step 5
Play mini-games for extra photocards
Use Fill Out, Hurdles, and The Great Lock-in to earn more rewards while testing your BTS song knowledge.
Step 6
Trade duplicate photocards
Set trading permissions to Anyone, open your Duplicates tab, choose a card, and send a trade request to another user.
Step 7
Use the forum and trackers
Join forum conversations, follow Spotify and YouTube tracking badges, and check milestone goals for current fandom priorities.
Step 8
Generate Spotify playlists
Pick a focus track, choose the target number of streams, add enough filler songs, adjust spacing, then save the playlist to Spotify.
Connect Last.fm to BCD
This is the most important setup step if you want your BCD profile and missions to reflect your listening activity. Sign in to Last.fm, connect it to Spotify or your preferred streaming service, then copy your Last.fm username or profile URL into the tracking field in BCD settings.
Once connected, your recent streams should appear on your BCD profile. If streams do not appear, check that Last.fm is scrobbling from your streaming app before changing BCD settings.
Daily Missions and Photocards
Daily missions ask you to stream specific BTS songs. Mission requirements can change each day, so check the mission list before starting. After finishing a mission, claim your digital photocard reward inside the app.
You can earn extra photocards through mini-games. Fill Out asks you to identify a BTS song from a pixelated image. Hurdles uses short audio snippets. The Great Lock-in rewards users for completing BTS member-inspired tasks.
Trading, Forums, and Milestones
When you collect duplicate photocards, open trading settings and set requests to Anyone if you want to receive offers from all users. To start a trade, go to your Duplicates tab, select the photocard, and enter the other user's BCD username.
The forum is useful for trading threads, questions, mission reminders, and community updates. Read the community rules before posting. Use stream tracking badges and milestone pages to see current Spotify, YouTube, and chart goals.
Spotify Playlist Generator
BCD can generate optimized Spotify playlists. Choose a focus track, set the total number of streams you want in the playlist, and include enough filler tracks so the playlist does not repeat the same song too tightly. You can drag songs to adjust the gaps before saving.
After saving, BCD redirects you to Spotify so you can open the generated playlist and start listening.
Support and Etiquette
If something goes wrong, check the BCD FAQ first, then ask mutuals or the forum before contacting moderators. The app is free, but server costs can be high, so fans who are able to help can support the creator through Ko-fi.
